Coach Timmy has been invited to compete in Copa Podio, a grand prix style tournament featuring some of the toughest black belts in the world. Tim will be competing against black belt world champions, as well as the top prospects for the coming world championships.
Copa Podio is one the most prestigious events in professional Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. It has featured competitors such as Rodolfo Vieira, Xande Ribeiro, and Leandro Lo. One of the things that makes this event different from most BJJ competitions is that the only way to enter is if Copa Podio invites you specifically. The Grand Prix comes to a total 24 matches in one day.
Each season two brown belts are invited to compete amongst the black belts and test their steel agains some of the best competitors in the world. Tim will be competing against:
