A Summer Camp That Actually Builds Your Child's Future

MARYLAND PARENTS (AGES 6–12):

What Your Child Does This Summer…
Could Be the Most Important Decision You Make All Year

If you’re tired of summer camps that feel like glorified babysitting (endless screen time, kids sitting around bored, and zero real development), you’re not alone.

Most parents don’t realize this until it’s too late:

  • Summer learning loss is real. Kids lose 2 to 3 months of academic progress every summer.
  • Confidence is either built or lost. Idle time doesn’t build character. Structure does.
  • Habits formed in summer carry into the school year. What they do now shapes who they become in September.

That’s exactly why Crazy 88 created something very different from traditional camps.

Our Martial Arts Summer Camp (ages 6–12) is designed for parents who want:

Real skill development (not just games and supervision)
Academic time to keep kids sharp for the upcoming school year
Martial arts training that builds confidence, discipline, and self-defense skills
Structured days with purposeful activities (no wandering or wasted time)
Led by World Champion Coach Vannessa Griffin and professionally trained staff

Because when summer is done, you deserve more than memories.

Your child deserves progress.

Sharp Minds. Strong Bodies.

Real Skills, Real Confidence.

Summer Growth, Not Summer Slide.

What to Expect

Crazy 88 Summer Camp

Most camps offer supervision.
Some offer activities.
Very few offer intentional development.

Crazy 88 Summer Camp is built differently.

This is a high-energy, structured program where kids are fully engaged from start to finish. There’s no wandering, no excessive downtime, no “figure it out yourself” free play.

Every day is planned with purpose, combining movement, learning, and social development into a seamless experience.

Through functional physical activity, academic refreshers, martial arts instruction, and team challenges, campers stay sharp for the upcoming school year while having a blast doing it.

Because the real value of a camp isn’t the price.
It’s what your child walks away with.

What We Are NOT:

  • A free-play camp built around unstructured downtime
  • A daycare-style program
  • A screen-heavy camp filled with filler activities

What We Are:

  • A fully in-person, high-engagement summer camp
  • A structured program with dedicated time for academics, martial arts, and social development
  • An environment where kids learn, explore, problem-solve, build friendships, and have fun every single day

A Typical Day at Crazy 88 Summer Camp

9:00 AM: Morning Play & Activities

We kick off the day with high-energy outdoor games, water activities, basketball, or bounce houses and mat games indoors. Kids burn energy and build friendships right from the start.

11:00 AM: Lunch & Creative Time

After wrapping up morning play, campers enjoy lunch together. Then it’s time for arts and crafts, board games, card games, or Legos. Structured fun that keeps minds engaged.

1:00 PM: Martial Arts Training

Everyone hits the mats for martial arts instruction. Kids are split by skill level, learning Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and self-defense techniques from professionally trained coaches. This is where real confidence is built.

2:00 PM: Academic Time

60 minutes dedicated to keeping kids sharp for the upcoming school year. We use workbooks, STEM challenges, educational documentaries, puzzles, and math worksheets. No screens. Just learning.

3:00 PM: Afternoon Games & Snack

More movement and fun! Campers enjoy mat games, outdoor activities, and an afternoon snack. Energy is channeled into structured play.

4:00 PM: Wind Down & Pickup

We transition to quieter activities and allow limited electronics time. Parents pick up their campers, or kids stay for optional evening martial arts classes.
