Nigam – Review of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and No Gi Grappling Program by Doctor

By March 19, 2014Blog, Gym Reviews

My name is Nigam Shath. I am a physician in the Baltimore area, I’ve been in training for about six months now and it’s been a wonderful experience for me; I’ve met a lot of new people in a very friendly and safe atmosphere. I’ve trained in several other schools around the nation and I particularly enjoy this one not only for the skill and technique of its members but also because of the safe environment that I have found over here. That to me is most important that I can train in a good environment which I can develop myself and my skill level and my own pace, because of my busy schedule, but also train with good individuals.

Tell us a little bit about that schedule part, where do you work, the hospital, or do you work at a doctor’s office, what kind of doctor are you?

I’m an anesthesiologist, I work in the Baltimore area and my schedule can range from 10, 12, 24 hour days several days a week, one of the best aspects about this school is that it has classes at all times day or night, early in the morning, ranging to 10 PM at night so for me I come basically any time after my work and I can grab a class if I can. It’s easy access from the DC and the Baltimore area so I can drive up whatever location I’m at, I can train whenever I like.

How long have you been at Crazy 88 now?

It’s been about six months.

Great, great. Well we really appreciate having you here and thanks for taking the time to talk to us about your experience and yourself, thank you.

Thank you very much.

No problem.
