🔥 RECORD-BREAKING performance at the 2025 IBJJF World Championship 🔥

This is what happens when preparation meets pressure — the team walked into the toughest tournament in Jiu-Jitsu and walked out with 8 medals, the top performance on the East Coast.

🥈 Devin Riley — Silver, Brown Belt Light Feather

Defeated two Grand Slam champions before the medal rounds and earned his Black Belt at the ripe old age of 18. The only non-Brazilian to make the finals of the Brown Belt divisions.

🥉 Karina Lagrana — Bronze, Brown Belt Light

Only her 2nd Brown Belt event. Wins Atlanta and then onto the Worlds where she wins Bronze with 2 victories. Enough said.

🥉 Pairin Sullivan — Bronze, Purple Belt Light

Her third Grand Slam medal of the year. Getting better everyday and she’s only 17. The future is bright 🔮!

🥈 Olivia Obodoagha — Silver, Purple Belt Superheavy

Took out the Brazilian Nationals champ. Ends the season with Pan Gold + World Silver.

🥇 Annabelle Christie — Blue Belt World Champion

Got a bye since she was the Pan Champion. She put together 4 straight wins for Gold. I always heard that people "get religion" as they get older and Annabelle did after a war in the semis 🙏. She was promoted to Purple Belt.

🥈🥉 Madeleine Avila — Silver, Blue Belt Middle & Bronze, Open

Madeleine took out top seed of the Middleweights as she crushed her way to the Finals. The highlight for me was the sweep she hit on the Super Heavy Silver medalist in the Open Class. Ends the day as a Double Medalist and a new Purple Belt.

🥉 Asher May — Bronze, Blue Belt Medium Heavy (Juvenile 1)

Defeated the European Champ with a last-second takedown. First Grand Slam medal. #rizzking

People talk, numbers get twisted, and there’s always noise. But at the end of the day, results speak louder than words. 📈

Mrs. Angela is one of the most disciplined Crazy 88 students: She comes to practice with a focused plan. She drills and studies in her free time. In addition, she attends the Mastery class despite being the smallest (and taking care of five children). This lead her to a Pan Championship in 2023.

Last weekend was packed with competition!

A few of the grappling team flew down to Atlanta for in the 🍑 ADCC Atlanta Open.

🥇🥇Congrats to @mdavid.bjj88 and @getl0wman on winning Gold. 🥈 For leglock king @antcraparo and 4th for first time No-Gi competitor @audreylandrade .

Overall we left Georgia with ten wins and three losses! Great job team!
