Jon – Review of Crazy 88 Adult Mixed Martial Arts program.

My name is John Morrow. I’m 31 years old. I work part-time as a deejay and also work in marketing for Audio Products.

0:11 – I’ve been training at Crazy 88 since I think about since 2009. It’s been a really good experience. I trained at a couple other schools before this and this definitely was a much higher standard as far as the facilities and the level of instructors, just the overall experience that I’ve received since I’ve been here.

It really seemed more like a, like a club. At a lot of these other schools, the facilities were, I mean there’d be holes in the walls everywhere. It didn’t really look that clean. The– there was only maybe two or three classes a week. With something like this, it’s just a much more professional atmosphere. It’s very convenient with the array of classes they offer every day.

Some of the other schools, you know, like I said, it would just be two nights a week, something like that. And they were, they were just renting space out of a gym or it just looked like they found a, you know, somewhat of a warehouse somewhere, and just not anywhere close to the level of professionalism that they have at this this facility.

1:19 – I find that mentally I’m just a lot more focused with everything throughout the day. It’s if I have a lot of stress, um, and I put in a good session here at training, it really seems to turn the volume down on that stress level. Makes me a lot more balanced, overall I feel like and Just much more able to deal with the everyday problems as they pick up. It’s been just a really good release for me.

1:47 – There’s been a couple situations since I do work out in a lot of night life venues, and things like that, where some altercations broke out and the situation was pretty quickly remedied and I was able to control the situation pretty easily, I felt so.

2:05 – The competition atmosphere is, it’s there if you want it. It’s going to be supportive of whatever level you’re trying to achieve. If you want to become a world champion at the highest level, they have the resources here. If you’re just trying to lose a couple pounds, maybe get in a little bit better shape, and that’s what your priority is then, they’re going to have those resources for you here as well. So basically you have to set the goals for yourself and whether they be small, short-term, long-term, small or big. This really has the resources here to help you achieve those goals.

2:46 – It’s intimidating. looking at it and looking at it as if it’s a fight situation, so that makes you a little bit nervous about taking that first step. Once I took that first step, though, it gets progressively easier to come in everyday, but it’s just harder to take that initial plunge I guess.

3:07 – There’s always going to be a million reasons not to do something. There, since there’s no obligation. You just take that first step and just try it. If you hate it then maybe it’s not for you, but, I feel like most of the time that’s not going to be the case. You’re going to enjoy it.

You’re going to see the benefits and that there’s a positive vibe at the facility and just take that first step. And then recalibrate what you want to do from there, but just taking that first step is the most important thing and you don’t want to look back at your life and regret that you didn’t do things, so you really don’t have anything to lose, especially with the trial.
