For the next two weeks, instead of BJJ, we will be doing Judo with Judo Olympian Nick Delpopolo. Judo and BJJ are closely related. Judo places more emphasis on takedowns, whereas BJJ focuses on groundwork. Tonight’s class was a nice and easy review of some basic techniques. We didn’t do any sparring, so it was a very laid back class compared to the usual grueling workout. I’m too old to do serious Judo all the time, but it’s nice to do it every once on a while.
