As part of warmup tonight, we did 30 push-ups, 45 crunches, 20 butterfly kicks, and a few other things. I was barely phased by it. It’s amazing to remember that I had difficulty doing ten push-ups a year ago. I feel like my jiu jitsu positional game is starting to take shape. My next goal is to immediately initiate an attack series upon getting into a good position. My observation has been that if I take too long in setting up my attack, the other guy is eventually going to be able to transition out of the position, meaning that I end up back at square one.
