There have been a few recent promotions to the rank of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Blue Belt at Crazy 88 in the last couple weeks. One of those Blue Belts was awarded to Andy Hazelbaker. Andy studied computer science and engineering at Mississippi State University. He now works and lives in the Baltimore area. He began his training at Crazy 88 as a way to get into better shape and learn a new skill. Like many of the students at Crazy 88, Andy was looking for a way to exercise and stay interested in what he was doing. His work ethic on the mat, and also his great attitude have made him a stand out. He is not the stereotypical combat athlete, but exactly what a Martial Arts Instructor looks for in a student. He is an asset in the room and worthy of his accomplishment. Andy mentioned that only a year ago at this time he was exhausted after playing a couple games of racquetball with his father. This year he was able to play several games no problem, he attributes that to his training here at Crazy 88 Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
